Pruning by our ISA Certified Arborists serves many important functions in maintaining and improving the health, safety, and beauty of your trees. Our team has the flexibility to prune trees by using modern tree climbing techniques, or with the help of our crane and aerial lift devices.
High quality pruning work is a specialty that can only be performed correctly by educated arborists who understand the biology and physiology of trees. As such, all of our pruning work adheres to Best Management Practices and Safety Standards as created by the International Society of Arboriculture.
Upon meeting with an Arborist for a consultation or requesting a quote, you will receive a detailed written estimate which will specify pruning recommendations for your trees. Common pruning procedures include the following:
Crown Cleaning pruning: The targeted removal of dead, damaged, diseased and crossing branches from the canopy of your tree.
Structural pruning: Pruning to improve the long-term structural integrity of a tree, often performed on young trees to encourage strong growth free of structural defects.
Clearance Pruning: Pruning to ensure that adequate clearance space is maintained around homes and buidings, driveways, roads, and other objects.
Hazard Reduction pruning: Removal of large dead branches or defects in your tree so that it can be retained within acceptable hazard levels.
